This advisory note is applicable for cars with a last known rolling road test between March 2020 and March 2022.
By exception, an extension to date of test in regulation 3.7.1 will be accepted back to March 2020, this allows a car to be eligible for Championship Class registration without requiring a retest for 2025.
Any ‘new’ car seeking to enter a Championship Class 1-6 is still expected to be tested in advance of first event and remains the responsibility of the driver to organise using the conformance of test procedure.
To take effect for cars concerned [identified in published Class Allocation document], the driver must write to the respective Class Representative declaring that since the date of last test the car has had no change to engine specification or rebuild.
For transparency, the Class allocation document will maintain the date of last known test. Should the Technical Committee or Class Representative request a specific car is checked during the season, I will issue a bulletin to inform all registered drivers of the car queried.
